Land Grabbing

During the pan-African conference held in Nairobi last November, the problem of land grabbing, a real challenge for African countries, was discussed.

XX Anniversary of the International Year of the Family

20th anniversary of the international year of the family 0WUCWO has sponsored a Declaration of the Civil Society on the Occasion of the XXth Anniversary of the International year of the Family (IYF) which will take place in 2014. The aim is that its contents become a part of a resolution adopted by the United Nations on the occasion of this anniversary. Politicians, academics, representatives of NGOs as well as individual citizens the world over are invited to sign it.
