The annual meeting of the WUCWO Board has officially started, with the great majority of Board members, coming from different parts of the world, gathering in Rome to address important issues from their regions, work in thematic groups, and make key decisions for the next steps of WUCWO.

Yesterday, June 2, the Board members arrived and held the first Executive Committee meeting, followed by the inaugural Mass, which marked the official beginning of these days of work and fellowship.

Today, June 3, is dedicated to formation, focusing on the theme of communication: how to achieve more effective communication, how to coordinate communication among the member organizations, and how to promote the work that WUCWO carries out, among other topics.

During the session, we delved deeper into the theme of communication, identifying the main challenges faced by our member organizations in making their voices heard. We reflected on how to better communicate the valuable activities carried out by these organizations—the true protagonists of WUCWO. The discussion also focused on the types of materials needed to ensure effective communication, how to prepare press releases, how to face interviews, and other practical tools to strengthen and coordinate our global communication efforts.

All of this comes after the Jubilee of Families and leads into the next Jubilee, dedicated to Associations, to be held next weekend in Rome.
