The women of the Catholic Women’s Association, Our Lady Queen of Peace Portsmouth Branch, had the honour of participating in the bread and wine procession during the Chrism Mass of the Diocese of Portsmouth.

The celebration was solemn and deeply moving, especially as the Bishop referred to his priests as “sons,” a powerful reminder of the unity of the Church, with the Bishop as shepherd and the priests as his collaborators in ministry.

Following the Mass, the women had the opportunity to meet with the Bishop to exchange gifts and greetings. As always, he expressed his gratitude for their unwavering support and offered them his blessing.
